Accomodation

There are many different options for accommodation. One can rent an apartment or house and have the advantage of privacy, or stay in one of the many good hotels or pousadas (a guesthouse type accommodation where the guests have more contact with other guests and always has a nice relaxed, informal atmosphere). Hotels are usually where families go, pousadas are usually filled with younger people, many of whom are kitesurfers, especially in high season (July to January). It is advisable to reserve accommodation before coming to Cumbuco, especially from July to January as Cumbuco still has a limited amount of accomodation. Apartments in Cumbuco: Sun Beach Apartments Dunas Apartment Apartment Casa Dona Rosa Large beachfront apartments in a beautiful new condominium in Cumbuco. Prices start at 260 Reais per day Two bedroom apartment completely furnished. In the center of Cumbuco at the edge of the dunes, at 300 meters from the beach. Price starts at 200 Reais per day. Three apartments next to each other in the center of Cumbuco, fully furnished with large balcony. Prices start at 155 Reais per day. Dream Village Apartment Sun Village Apartment   Luxury 3 bedroom beachfront apartment in Dream Village, near the center of Cumbuco, fully furnished with large balcony. Price is 400 Reais per day, minium stay 1 week Two bedroom apartment completely furnished. In the center of Cumbuco at 100 meters from the beach. Price starts at 180 Reais per day. Price per month is 3000 Reais.   Pousadas Pousadas are a little less luxurious than hotels, they have a lot less staff for one, but still have an excellent service. You get new sheets and towels every day and they also clean your room every day. A pousada always offers free breakfast (cafe da manha) and there is always a swimming pool. Prices start at 55 Euro per night.   Pousada Dunas 100 meters from the beach, 100 meters from the center. Ideal for kite surfers and people that want to stay in the center near the bars and restaurants. Prices start at 170 R$ per night   Casa Dona Rosa 150 meters from the beach, 2 minuts walk to the town center. Owned by a Dutch couple. For people that enjoy luxury, peace and quiet. With large swimmingpool, poolbar and normal bar. Prices start at 135 R$ per night.

Houses

If you are with a group of 6 or more people it is a logical choice to rent a house instead of staying in a pousada or hotel. You have a lot more privacy, larger and more luxurious rooms, your own swimming pool and barbecua area. All houses have caretakers that are always looking after the houses, also at night.
