Buggy Tours
Most Brazilian tourists that come to Cumbuco come here to take
a buggy tour through the sand dunes behind the village. They call
this Emoçao, emotion, because it is a very emotional, and
fun, experience! You can also take one late afternoon so you can
watch one of the amazing sunsets from the sand dunes. It is also
possible to drive on the beaches in a buggy. There is also a small
lake close by where one can sit a sort of snowboard, a sandboard
really, and slide down a sand dune right into the lake. The Brazilians
call this eskibunda, or buttsurfing, and speeds up to 60 kilometers
per hour can be reached.
